Hannes Schiel completed his BA of Archaeological Science at the University of Vienna in 2013 and is currently acquiring his Master degree. Therefore he is doing studies on the Iron Age burial ground in the area of the city of Neunkirchen (Lower Austria). During his studies of Prehistory and Early History at the University of Vienna he visited several courses in archaeological prospection and interpretation; furthermore he has done an exchange year at the University College London. He also works as Prospection Assistant for the LBI ArchPro, where he got his practical experience in archaeological magnetic prospection.
Beside the LBI ArchPro Hannes Schiel is the custodian of the archaeological collection of the city Museum of Neunkirchen (Lower Austria) where he is also responsible for the exhibition design and the object photography.
