Processing and Visualisation

The main objective of this research task is the optimization of data processing and visualization routines through implementation of improved, and development of new, data pre-processing and imaging algorithms, resulting in enhanced data and image quality.


The new motorized multi-sensor devices demand the development of appropriate algorithms for optimized data interpolation and the implementation and application of improved data correction algorithms. These tasks are implemented on basis of the existing software packages APmag and APradar provided by partner ZAMG. The newly developed modules that are implemented into these two software packages are combined within the new software APsoft2.0, integrating the necessary data processing algorithms for all of the LBI ArchPro relevant geophysical measurement systems with a global visualization toolbox.
