LoggerVIS 2.0
The in-house development of the data logging and navigation software LoggerVis 2.0 has been completed.
The software has been initially implemented for use with Foerster fluxgate magnetometer systems. Additionally, manual as well as motorised caesium magnetometer tests have been successfully conducted with LoggerVis 2.0. Three modes of operation currently exist: motorized magnetics, manually operated magnetics, and motorized non-magnetics (e.g. for GPR navigation). An online data visualization function was developed to work with both fluxgate and caesium magnetometer systems. A magnetic values chart-display permits a data visualisation suited for efficient detection of sensor malfunctions during data acquisition. Aside from logging magnetic data the LoggerVIS software is used as navigation and guidance tool during magnetic and GPR data acquisition, displaying already covered area, position data and its quality, as well as background images like aerial photographs).
