Alexander Bornik is computer scientist (PhD from Graz University of Technology). He is an expert in the field of computer graphics with the focus on 3D volume visualisation. His research interests include the flexible visualisation algorithms for heterogeneous data including 3D user interaction with the goal to optimize data optimize data understanding by both, application domain experts and laymen.

After performing research on medical visualisation,  and virtual reality application in medicine at Graz University of Technology he worked in the forensic field at LBI CFI with the goal to optimise the use of 3D imaging in crime scene investigations, legal medicine and court proceedings.
