Augmented Reality

Augmented reality applications, as the Carnuntum ludus example tested by LBI ArchPro with its collaboration partners 7reasons, Wikitude and NoeL Archaeological Park Carnuntum, offer new possibilities to visualize buried and otherwise invisible cultural heritage, thereby conveying the importance of its protection as well as the meaning and value of archaeological research.

They are amongst the most flourishing means of dissemination and help to raise awareness for archaeological heritage and respective research.
